ASA, Inc. is
a non-profit, Evangelical Christian organization that was incorporated
in November of 1999. The mission of ASA is to reach the youth with
the gospel through the venue of athletics.
Each year ASA will conduct domestic and international
outreaches to youth through athletic camps, athletic tournaments,
and the building of athletic fields. It is the goal of ASA that
each of these endeavors be run in conjunction with local churches.
It is a firm belief of ASA that the youth it reaches be connected
to a local body which, in turn, can provide discipleship, accountability,
and the equipping that is paramount for service.

All of the board members of ASA are Evangelical
Christians with rich athletic backgrounds. With this strong athletic
foundation, we know what constitutes the make-up of an athlete and
believe we can be "athletes to the athletes" that some
may be won to Christ (1 Corinthians 9:13).

In addition, ASA is committed
to the equipping of young Christians athletes to help them maximize
the use of their God-given athletic talents to further advance the
kingdom of God.

| We're Similar...to
other athletic organizations that teach athletic skills. Our goal
is to provide the highest quality of athletic instruction in an atmosphere
of complete professionalism. When any young person completes our camps
or clinics, we are confident he will leave a better player. |

| We're Similar...to
other Christian organizations that present the gospel of Jesus. Our
goal is that each young person who attends our camps or clinics will
leave having made a decision for Jesus or, at least, leave with a
more positive impression of what it means to be a follower of His. |

|
| We're Different...from
other athletic and Christian organizations in that we combine the
two. We stress both athletic and character development. In fact, we
believe the two will do more than compliment each other. A young person
will be a much better athlete by becoming a Christian and integrating
the teachings of the Bible within the athletic context. Conversely,
a young Christian can strengthen his walk with the Lord by applying
scriptural truths to the valuable experiences he encounters on the
athletic field. Because sports continue to play an extremely prominent
role both nationally and internationally, we believe we will gain
access to many youth who would otherwise have no exposure to the gospel. |
